The Grass Seems Greener On The Other Side!

A delegation from Industrial MakerSpace Landsberg has returned from an inspiring visit to the Dubai Future Forum at the iconic Museum of the Future. Surrounded by aerial taxi prototypes and cutting-edge mobility concepts, the team explored how emerging technologies will shape production, logistics and urban life.

As part of the trip, the delegation visited Make Abu Dhabi, a leading community-based makerspace that combines workshop, lab and studio functions under one roof. In a focused exchange with General Manager Talal Al Ansari, both sides compared user journeys, membership models and strategies for building vibrant maker communities.

A special highlight was meeting artist Anne‑Marie La Croix‑Raffy, whose intricate ceramic work reflects the experimental spirit at the heart of the maker movement. The visit delivered fresh ideas, new contacts and concrete impulses for future collaborations that will benefit companies, creatives and technology enthusiasts in Landsberg alike.
