CDTM Team Designs User Journey for Industrial MakerSpace Landsberg

On January 8, a team from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) visited the Industrial MakerSpace Landsberg (IMS) again to work on the perfect user journey for our future customers. Their goal was to better understand how visitors will discover, book, and use the MakerSpace so that every step feels simple and inspiring.

During an intensive series of workshops, the students mapped out typical user profiles and created a detailed journey from first contact to successful project completion. They identified pain points, developed ideas for smoother processes, and suggested digital touchpoints that will make it easier to explore our machines, training offers, and community.

The insights from this collaboration will directly influence how we design our website, booking system, and on-site experience. By involving motivated students and future entrepreneurs, the Industrial MakerSpace ensures that its services are built around real user needs. Tangible benefits will include an easier configuration and contracting of the IMS infrastructure and service offering.
